The first Z car emblems produced were made of metal. As the 240Z model developed through the production line, Nissan decided to go with plastic emblems where practicle.

The hood, quarter, fender, and hatch emblems were all originally metal, and in later years they went to all plastic emblems with the exception of the quarter emblems which remained metal.

Metal emblems are very sought after, and difficult to restore. Zeddsaver believes in restoration of these very rare, original items for your Z car. Please call for availability of these metal emblems.

We insist on only restoring original Nissan emblems and do not replicate our emblems. All emblems are genuine Nissan and all plastic emblems are brand new in the Nissan box.
